What to Do in an Earthquake
In the event of an earthquake:
- Take cover under furniture or in doorways.
- Stay in the building until the tremor stops.
- Keep away from windows, overhead fixtures, or objects that could fall on you.
- Wait for evacuation instructions from Los Rios Police or college officials.
If campus is evacuated, then students and employees should remain at home or in shelters until directed to return to campus.
